CARSTAR · Multi-location search

Make every location easier to find.

For a collision-repair network, local search is part of the path from an urgent need to a nearby shop. Xivic worked on the content and site structure that support that discovery.

Historical program, documented in 2019

Help a driver find the right repair center.

A visitor looking for collision repair needs a service and a location. CARSTAR’s program focused on the pages connecting those two needs: the directory hierarchy, individual repair-center pages and service content.

Rebuild the paths through the location network.

  1. Audit the content

Audited the site for duplicate and thin material before defining content changes.

  2. Clarify the local structure

Organized directory paths around national, state and city levels.

  3. Improve service and location pages

Improved service and location-page content so the pages addressed the visitor’s local need.

A directory and its local pages have different jobs.

The directory organizes the national network into state and city paths. The local page explains the relevant service at the destination. Xivic’s work addressed both, so content cleanup and navigation changes belonged to the same program.

Our approach to service and location content

Are your location pages helping people choose?

We can review the service content, directory paths and local information that stand between a search and a customer inquiry.
