Help guests choose a location and take the next step.
The menu may earn the visit, but hours, availability and the booking path decide whether it happens. Xivic helps restaurant groups and hospitality businesses connect brand content to accurate local information, reservations and event inquiries.

Shakey’s Pizza
Connect the menu to the right restaurant.
Xivic launched a menu-page test for Shakey’s that prompted visitors to choose a restaurant. The team then tracked engagement and conversion events after the January 2024 launch, connecting experience design and implementation to a specific local customer action.

The operating challenge
When does a guest need location-specific information?
A diner needs the right menu, hours and reservation or ordering option. An event planner needs capacity, location details and a response from the team that handles the venue. We separate those journeys while sharing the underlying location data and publishing tools. The first release should resolve a known gap, such as a menu page that loses diners before location selection or an event form that arrives without a date and guest count.
Design around the action the guest actually needs.
Connect menus and location pages to the available reservation, ordering or event-inquiry option. Keep the chosen location attached as the visitor moves between tools.
Support a network of locations
Let local teams maintain hours, menu exceptions and promotions within a shared publishing structure. Define approval and expiry rules for changes.
Connect campaigns to useful measures
Distinguish restaurant selection, booking clicks and qualified event inquiries. Reconcile downstream outcomes where reservation and sales systems make them available.
Use a different test for a diner and an event planner.
A dining journey should preserve the chosen restaurant and menu. An event journey should deliver a date, party size and venue requirement to the team that can respond. Combining the two into one conversion count hides what needs attention.
Keep local information reliable
Bring the menu sources, hours, local exceptions and offer expiry rules. Define who changes each item and test the path into the actual ordering or reservation tool, including a closed or unavailable location.
For dining, distinguish restaurant selection and booking clicks from confirmed reservations. For events, agree what makes an inquiry qualified and whether the receiving team can return that status to reporting.
