Pet Insurance

Help pet owners understand the plan before starting a quote.

Pet owners need to compare plan details, understand the next step and return to their information later. Xivic improves the content, application experience and system connections behind those tasks, with testing that includes existing customers.

Where Xivic can help

Improve the quote customers return to.

Adding another pet, resuming a saved quote or changing a detail can expose gaps a new-quote test misses. We review content, application states and data connections together.

  • Plan comparison and quote journeys

Use approved plan details to answer comparison questions. Make quote requirements, saved progress and the next action visible to the pet owner.

  • Application engineering

Connect pet, customer and policy information where the approved systems permit it. Define how mismatched or incomplete records reach a reviewer.

  • Release confidence

Test new quotes, returning users, existing records and service requests against the change. Include incomplete information and interrupted sessions.

Account for the details that change a pet quote.

Xivic’s work for Embrace includes development support and quote-engine discovery. Technical review addressed existing API connections, pet-age and multi-pet scenarios, and the testing needed to preserve existing customer journeys.

A useful first project

Test the scenarios the release must preserve.

Choose one plan and use its approved wording. Include one pet, multiple pets, an age boundary, an interrupted quote and an existing customer returning to stored information.

  1. Clear comparison questions

Use support questions to test how owners interpret options and exclusions. Route content and interface changes to the product owner for approval.

  2. Consistent saved information

Document where pet details, selected options and saved progress live. Test API errors and changed information across quote steps.

  3. Existing customers included

Check resumed quotes, existing records and service requests as well as new applications. Preserve authorized product and coverage decisions.
